Remember the wind chill effect mentioned earlier? Here's a table which will help you determine just how cold you can get when out in the open.
The 'wind chill effect' is a vital point to bear in mind when you are trying to survive in cold conditions. An already cold air temperature combined with a strong, freezing wind can lead to an equivalent chill temperature that may be deadly. This table will help you work out the likely effect of the wind on your body.
